Each year 100 Billion disposable coffee cups go to landfill. This adds up to over two-trillion since their conception over 30 years ago. Disposable coffee cups are only used for an average of 13 minutes and less than 1% are recyclable. This is unsustainable, to say the least, and recycling is not the answer, we must refuse to use these planetary plagues.

Every time you use your EcoCoffee Cup you’re helping make a tiny dent in the 100 billion single-use coffee cups that go to landfill each year, but imagine if we all did it? To completely stop the spread of plastic, what a dream. And so we’re enlisting the powers of social media to help us on our quest to raise awareness – and effect some real change in the way people drink their takeaway coffee – and we need your help to spread the word.
