Collection and Delivery
All juices will be ready to collect by 9am and must be collected before 10am. Please understand that we are extremely busy in the mornings and we really appreciate it when you collect before the mad rush hits.
- Deliveries will be made between 8 and 10am.
- For the longer cleanses, juices must be collected every 3 days, as we don’t use any preservatives. Doing things this way also means that the juices don’t oxidize as much, ensuring maximum nutritional integrity.
- Please bring your own bag with which to collect the juices.
- It is imperative that you begin the cleanse on the day it is collected/delivered, as the juices contain no preservatives and will go off if left in the fridge for more than 2-days.
Bottles and Recycling
Lockdown has been operationally and financially tough for us in many ways, and one of the big obstacles has been our bottles.
We weren’t able to get glass for a long time, and our bottle printers are still closed. We have been unable to accept bottle returns due to the contamination risk this poses. Supplier costs have been increasing as the rand weakens and transport routes become longer and more challenging to navigate.
Glass bottles have always been at the heart of Nourish’d, but our current financial situation demanded a change. SO we’ve found the next best option: Biodegradable Bio-Bottles with recyclable lids, which are the bottles you will have likely received.
These break down in 6-weeks in a commercial composting facility (or well-maintained home compost), have been scientifically proven to do so and have been personally tested by 2 organic waste plants in Cape Town with incredible results. The lid of the bottle is recyclable PET plastic #2 and we’re imploring our customers to recycle/compost these or return them to us, and we will do so for you. Or you can call the company who makes the bottles directly and they will collect them from you to compost: 021 911 1085.
To account for the decreased size, and lack of deposit, we have significantly reduced the cost of all cleanses and meal plans during lockdown.
